Todos los niños durante sus etapas de desarrollo experimentan y atraviesan diferentes desafíos que le son comunes a todas las culturas. Cuando nos enfocamos en los hitos del desarrollo surgen una serie de Preguntas Globales que son transversales a todos los agentes que tienen influencia en el desarrollo, el cuidado, la educación y la atención de los más pequeños. En este escenario de cuidadores, guías, acompañantes, terapeutas y educadores, se hace presente la figura del Musicoterapeuta, y más específicamente el rol de la Musicoterapia hospitalaria, la cual incide como agente potenciador del neurodesarrollo por medio de la estimulación neurológica. Esta se vale de las herramientas propias de la disciplina, y las que le proveen los avances de la ciencia y las tecnologías aplicadas, para beneficio de los pacientes infantes en crecimiento, su desempeño y funcionalidad en contextos socio-familiares en las lógicas de la globalización.

All children during their developmental stages experience and go through different challenges that are common to all cultures. When we focus on development milestones, a series of Global Questions arise that are transversal to all the agents that have influence on the development, care, education and attention of the smallest. In this scenario of caregivers, guides, companions, therapists and educators, the figure of the Music Therapist is present, and more specifically the role of Hospital Music Therapy, which acts as a neurodevelopmental enhancing agent through neurological stimulation. This uses the tools of the discipline, and those provided by the advances of science and applied technologies, for the benefit of growing infant patients, their performance and functionality in socio-family contexts in the logic of globalization.
